This week, we’re kicking off our new faith-based employee series with a powerful story of purpose, growth, and belief. Lydia’s story reflects how faith shapes both her work and her worldview, and we’re honored to share her perspective with you.

Personal Faith & Background

Can you share a little about your faith journey and what it means to you personally?

I was raised in a Christian home and grow up learning and knowing about Jesus, and when I was about 7 years old I accepted Jesus as my Savior. My faith and relationship with God is the solid foundation in my life that has guided me through every decision and hard time in life. I couldn’t image living with out Him.

What’s a lesson your faith has taught you that continues to guide you today?

Something I have learned and am still learning is that, when Jesus is the center of my life it completely changes the way I see the world around me and how the world sees me. Sometimes the worry and stress of work or life in general cause me to not be fully focused on God, and it can feel overwhelming. But when I put God first it is easy to find joy and peace in spite of the business around me.

Faith at Work

How has working at DYNA strengthened or shaped your faith?

Working at DYNA has pushed me out of my comfort zone in many ways and caused me to remember that without God I would never have gotten this job and I without Him I cannot keep it.

What helps you stay grounded in your faith during busy or challenging workdays?

Something that has been a huge help to me is taking time out of even the busiest days, to spend some time reading the Bible or praying. I have learned on the days when I feel like I have the least time, that is when I need those few minutes of focusing on God the most.

Team & Culture

How do you see faith reflected in DYNA’s company culture?

I see faith reflected in DYNA by the conversations I hear. I appreciate it when someone asks, “How can I pray for you?” or those random conversations with a coworker that encourage and challenge me in my Christian life.

Do you have a favorite memory at DYNA where faith played a meaningful role?

I don’t have one specific memory, but there are lots of little moments that happen during the workdays that challenge and encourage me.

Legacy & Influence

What is your favorite Bible verse?

Psalm 16:11- Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore

What do you hope people take away from your story?

I hope they will take away how important it is to keep Jesus as the center of their life. And be encouraged to give all worry, hurt, and stress to God and let Him work in and through them. God Bless
