This drilling (or mortising) machine operates like a standard drill press, but it's designed to bore through 6" posts. The drill swivels up to 45 degrees for making angled holes, which are necessary for certain pieces of furniture and for stair railings. A hand operated clamping mechanism holds the material in place.
